I love this food! When I want to eat Indian food this is where I order from. My favourite dish is the Murgh Chat With Puri, but everything else is pretty delicious.

A long standing favourite restaurant to visit when we are in Edinburgh and we are never disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere makes it a great place to eat whether there are just the two of us or catching up with friends for lunch or dinner. If you are a visitor to Edinburgh make the effort to walk to St Mary's Street - it isn't far from Princes Street and well worth the effort. Yvonne & Gordon Wilson

This is a lovely, clean and fresh restaurant with polite and friendly staff. Our group were having a lunchtime get together during the week to celebrate a colleague's birthday. The price for the lunchtime specials is excellent value for money. The food was fresh, tasty and was served on time with good-sized portions. This was the second time I have visited Vinyasa, I will certainly return and would recommend it-highly. Quality. Garry Sneddon

We have eaten curries all around the UK in brick lane and Mayfair in London but we can honestly say here is one of the best curries we have ever had. The staff are very friendly also I'm a very relaxed atmosphere . Excellent all around 5 Star....

An absolute incredible and magical flavor feast created at the hands of a Master Chef. The array of tastes crosses the entire palette from sweet and tangy to earthy filled with fire and bursts of aromatic spices in between. The chutney sauces are extraordinary and add a delightful and surprising kick to any dish. The appetizers are fresh and layered with delicate hints of a European-meets-Indian influenced cuisine. The breads are abundant with flavor and generous in portions. A meal in themselves. Altogether, the highlight of our dining travels.

Fantastic food. Best Indian food we have ever tasted. House white wine delicious. Nagas sauce was mild, but did the job. We would definitely go back again and again.

A friend and I visited Edinburgh last weekend and were deciding on a place to dine out. I had rarely been to an Indian restaurant before and was sceptical at first but my friend persuaded me to go to this place very near to where we were staying. When the food arrived and we started eating I was totally converted! The Tandoori Murgh (a classic dish of roasted chicken marinated in yogurt and spices) was simply wonderful and beautifully prepared. The accompanying vegetable and rice dishes were superb and the drink we chose (Cobra lager) was perfect. The meal was a delight for the palate and all the senses. On top of that the service was first class - all the staff really care about their customers. I've decided to try Indian food much more often from now on and I would heartily recommend this brilliant restaurant to anyone visiting Edinburgh to go to.

We visited this excellent Indian Restaurant as regular Curry eaters on the 28th May and would thoroughly recommend the food, very authentic with lots of flavour. The staff were extremely friendly and eager for feedback on your experience to improve (if possible ) further. Whilst this establishment is a little tucked away from the Royal Mile it is not one to be missed. Paul and Nicki (Table 7)

Just found this restaurant even tho it's only 2 mins from me. Thought I'd try a take away first as hate sitting in a restaurant with mediocre food! It was the best meal I've had in Edinburgh. Ordered a couple of items not on the menu & it was no problem for them. Went to collect & the restaurant itself is gorgeous. Staff were welcoming & friendly & great value for money. This is my new favourite restaurant. Keep up the good work & all will return.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! The location is great just off the Royal Mile. The restaurant is clean, modern, bright and tastefully decorated. Rumel and Mirage were really friendly with a great sense of humour. We each chose different dishes and they were all delicious mmmm! We will definitely go back on our next visit to Edinburgh and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. Had a great time.

Forget the best in Edinburgh, this is one of the best in the UK. So many indian restaurants serve good food, Vinyasa serves excellent food and is matched with excellent warm friendly service. I've dined there for the past 2 nights and both occasions I felt like I'd been dining there for years. I will tell everyone I know to use this restaurant when in Edinburgh and I guarantee whenever I'm here on business I will be dropping in for some of that great service. Well done guys, keep up the great work.

The food and service at Vinyasa are both excellent. This is my local Indian restaurant and is, in the few months that it has been open so far, one of the best in Edinburgh.

The food was delicious and the service was great. The best Indian food we've had in Edinburgh, and we've tried a lot of places! We got free mint chocolate and baileys after the meal, and the waiters were really nice to us. We would absolutely recommend this place to everyone who would appreciate a great Indian meal in a pleasant atmosphere. This restaurant is totally worth a visit.
